To thrill and get thrilled with a flower delivery

Giving flowers is a custom tradition in the human culture since the dawn of history. Archeologic diggings show that in the pre-historical era people were already bury with flowers in order for them to have a more pleasant time in the afterlife. Flowers have become an integrated part of the human culture and the flowers subject has developed into a level of caltural signs, symbols and language. For example, roses are considered as luxurious flowers when red roses express love and intense passion, pink roses express soft, gentle and romantic love, and white roses symbolizes for purity and appreciation.

The act of sending flowers and giving flower bouquets exist in all forms of cultural expression, including movies, operas, songs and books. For that reason giving flowers is rooted so deep in the human subconscious that there is almost no person who receives a flower delivery and doesn’t spontaneously respond to this gesture. For that reason giving flowers is different than giving chocolate, wine or a book, because flowers triggers a spontaneous and uncontrollable reaction of the subconscious, and with that comes the unique power of the flower delivery, which always excites and thrills the receiver of the flowers.

On the other hand, up until recently, a flower delivery caused an emotional reaction only on one side, the side of the receiver. The sender of the flowers was not “present” at the moment the flowers got to their destination, and at most just received a trivial text notification about the completion of the delivery, a message that didn’t create any emotional reaction. But with the development of photography technology and cellphone photo transmission, there is the possibility to share the flower sender with the moment of delivery by using a photo or a video. This technology turns flower delivery from a thrill of just the receiver into an emotional experience both for the receiver and for the sender. Experience proves that a photo of the moment of delivery creates a new dimension and gives an extra value that doesn’t exist in a conventional flower delivery.

A good example shows in the picture of delivering the orchid. From the photo reflects that the receiver of the orchid is overwhelmed by the beauty of it and surprised from the gift itself. A sender of flowers, who receives a trivial text message: “The orchid has been delivered” does not experience any emotion except the relief that the delivery has been completed successfully. But the sender who receives such a photo experiences a feeling of joy and satisfaction by the reaction seen in the photo, and by so, the photo creates an intense emotional experience for the sender as well. That is the reason why whoever sends a bouquet or an orchid through Balizer thrills and get thrilled once getting the photo of the delivery moment.
